Nimuel (she/they) is an emerging digital artist from Vietnam currently residing in Naarm/ Melbourne. Nimuel explores interactivity and Alternate Reality, which plays a significant role in shaping their artistic vision and perception of life.
Incorporating their own work into the examination of subconscious train of thoughts and the healing of traumas is something Nimuel's really interested in, and they are also naturally curious about the idea of using digital interactivity to explore the complexities of human experiences and emotions.
While being a digital enthusiast, Nimuel enjoys using classic artistic mediums such as gouache, oil, acrylic, and coloured pencils and actively participate in life drawing sessions with models. Nimuel strives to hone their design perception using both digital technologies and traditional materials in order to maintain the dexterity of their hands.
In addition to their interest in graphics, Nimuel also has a passion for printing techniques such as risograph printing and lego printing. During their leisure time, they frequently accept commissions from tattoo parlours to create exclusive designs. Additionally, Nimuel derives pleasure from listening to music and playing the electric bass guitar.
